Title: Data for Decision Makers
Abstract: How do water managers make decisions? What kind of 
information is valuable to them? Why should we care? Come hear Lisa 
Wade discuss two projects that Riverside Technology has completed with 
Colorado-based clients. Riverside specializes in providing our clients 
with the environmental information they need to manage their systems. 
For Denver Water, Riverside created a custom water supply index that 
provides at-a-glance accounting of Denver Water's supply. For Division 
3 of Colorado Department of Water Resources, Riverside developed the 
Rio Grande Compact Decision Support Tool. The tool uses ensemble-based 
streamflow forecasts to help the Division Engineer set the annual 
delivery target. Lisa Wade graduated from CU with her Master's in 
2012. She now works as a water resources engineer with Riverside, 
based in Fort Collins. She will discuss these two projects and her 
experiences as an early career engineer.
