History
The University of Colorado at Boulder is the flagship university of the University of Colorado system, and was founded five months before Colorado was admitted to the union in 1876. The Department of Civil, Environmental, and Architectural Engineering celebrated its centennial in 2004. The architectural engineering program at the University of Colorado was one of the first programs organized in the United States.
