Abstract Denver Water is the largest drinking water provider in the state of Colorado. The goal of this utility is to continuously provide high quality drinking water to its customers. To reliably meet this goal Denver Water is constantly making decisions and planning to account for future uncertainties. This presentation will cover an overview of Denver Water and how hydrology and climate information is used in short and long-term planning. Denver Water is also an active leader in the climate change and water arena. Current dilemmas, activities, and results, such as from the Joint Front Range Climate Change Vulnerability Study, will be presented during this session.
