Experimental Studies on Turbulent Mixing of Multiple Passive Scalars Turbulent mixing of multiple passive scalars is a process that occurs in many natural and man made processes; however, has received little attention both numerically and experimentally due to the challenging nature of the physics behind these flows. This talk will focus on a new experimental technique we have developed that allows the experimental study of multiple scalars in fluid flows. Examples of different flows, from laminar vortex shedding to turbulent jets will be discussed, followed by a discussion of results and future possible data analysis to be done.
