The title could be: "Climate Change Impacts in the Zambeze River Valley to 2050". Abstract. We apply a comprehensive approach to evaluating climate change impacts in the Zambeze river valley to 2050. The issues considered include the science of climate change, with particular emphasis on developing probabilistic distributions of climate outcomes for the Zambezi River Valley; changes in world prices under alternative emission control scenarios, with an emphasis on agriculture and energy; climate change impacts on agriculture and water resources; climate change impacts on infrastructure, with an emphasis on roads; and the implications of sea level rise for coastal surge in the event of a cyclone. These analyses encompass the principal impact channels anticipated for the Zambezi River Valley to 2050. Specific attention is paid to climate uncertainty. These impacts channels are imposed on an economywide model of Mozambique in order to estimate the implications of climate change for economic growth and development prospects in a representative country within the Zambezi river valley.
